Meta launches Muse Code terminal agent, powered by new Muse Spark 1.2 model

Persistent background agents keep grinding between prompts, a bid to outlast Claude Code and Codex on long, messy engineering jobs.

• Meta released Muse Code in beta, its first terminal-based AI coding agent, powered by the newly updated Muse Spark 1.2 model, with CEO Mark Zuckerberg announcing it publicly on X.
