Pharma giants already tied to its cell-surface mapping platform through prior deals are now also betting equity on its first clinical readout.

  • InduPro closed a $77 million Series B financing led by The Column Group and simultaneously dosed the first patient in a Phase 1 trial of its lead oncology drug, IDP-001.
  • InduPro, based in Seattle and Cambridge, Mass., builds cancer and autoimmune therapeutics using a platform that maps the spatial positioning of proteins on cell surfaces.
  • IDP-001 is a bispecific antibody-drug conjugate co-targeting EGFR and CDCP1 (TAPA-E1), aiming to improve tumor selectivity in squamous and non-squamous NSCLC and other solid tumors.
  • The Series B follows an $85 million Series A closed in June 2024, bringing InduPro's disclosed priced funding to roughly $162 million.
  • New Series B backers Sanofi and Eli Lilly each had prior strategic ties to InduPro, including a Lilly collaboration worth up to roughly $950 million to discover bispecific oncology drugs.
  • Treatment options for squamous cancers have lagged behind other solid tumors, so a clinic-stage readout from InduPro's proximity-based targeting approach could offer a rare new mechanism for a hard-to-treat population.
