Series C

The enterprise AI agent startup went from Series A to unicorn in under two years by targeting the phone calls and paperwork logistics firms never automated.

  • HappyRobot raised $150 million in a Series C round led by Prysm Capital and co-led by Eurazeo, valuing the company at $1.2 billion post-money.
  • Founded in 2022 by brothers Pablo and Javi Palafox with Luis Paarup, HappyRobot builds AI agents that handle phone calls, emails and documents inside enterprise operations, starting in logistics.
  • The round brings HappyRobot's total funding to roughly $200 million across three rounds in about 20 months, following a $44 million Series B last September.
  • The company says revenue has grown fivefold since its Series B and it now serves more than 150 enterprise customers including DHL, Uber, Kuehne + Nagel, Naturgy and Repsol.
  • HappyRobot is expanding beyond logistics into insurance, energy, telecommunications and airlines, industries it says still rely on fragmented, manual coordination.
  • For investor Wave-X, the corporate venture arm of Austria's WALTER GROUP, this is the first unicorn among its 13 portfolio investments.
  • The rapid climb to unicorn status shows investors are betting heavily that AI agents can take over the operational grunt work of large enterprises, not just chatbots or coding tools.
