Cyera to acquire Israeli AI-identity startup Oasis Security for $1B
August 25, 2026
Deal Value
$1B
Machine and AI-agent logins are multiplying faster than any human workforce ever did, turning identity management into cybersecurity's newest battleground.
- Cyera has agreed to acquire Oasis Security in a roughly $1 billion cash-and-stock deal, about $700 million of it in cash, with the deal expected to close later this year.
- Oasis, founded in 2022 by Danny Brickman and Amit Zimerman, builds 'agentic access management' software that governs the non-human identities machines and AI agents use to reach corporate data.
- Combining Oasis's non-human identity governance with Cyera's data-classification platform aims to give companies one system deciding what every human, machine and AI agent can see and do.
- Non-human identities inside large enterprises grew nearly 500% in six months, making them the fastest-growing account type in corporate networks, according to Cyera.
- The purchase is Cyera's fifth acquisition in recent months, following Genie Security, Ryft, Trail Security, Otterize and Shape AI, funded partly by a $600 million round in June that valued Cyera at $12 billion.
- Oasis says it is the fastest cybersecurity startup to go from launch to a $1 billion sale, and the deal is described as the fastest all-Israeli startup exit to reach that mark.
- The deal shows enterprise security being rebuilt around machine and agent identity rather than human logins, a bet that most of the agents it's meant to secure haven't been deployed yet.
