Raised
$75M
The Izmir startup skipped venture funding for four years, building a profitable portfolio of apps before taking a single outside dollar.
- HubX agreed to take up to $75 million from U.S. investor Point72 Private Investments at a $1.2 billion pre-money valuation, announced August 28, 2026.
- The Izmir-based company runs a portfolio of more than 40 mobile and web products, including Nova, Wiser, DaVinci and Lotus Flow, downloaded over 600 million times across 190+ countries.
- The deal includes an initial $50 million tranche plus an option for another $25 million, and marks HubX's first external funding since its 2022 founding.
- HubX grew to over 370 employees across Izmir and Istanbul while staying profitable for four years without outside capital.
- HubX plans to funnel the capital into acquiring established apps and product teams globally while expanding its AI Lab and technology infrastructure.
- HubX joins Peak Games, Getir, Dream Games, Trendyol, Hepsiburada, Insider and Loom as Türkiye's eight unicorns, part of a government push to reach 100 'Turcorns' by 2030.
- HubX's rise shows Türkiye's unicorn wave broadening beyond e-commerce and gaming into a bootstrapped, AI-driven app-portfolio model that scaled profitably before ever raising money.
