Stoke Space raises $1B Series E to scale reusable Nova rocket manufacturing

Investors are betting billions on reusable launch capacity before the rocket has ever flown.

• Stoke Space closed an initial $1B tranche of its Series E, co-led by Point72 Ventures and Spark Capital, bringing its total capital raised to $2.3B.
• The Kent, Washington-based startup is building the fully reusable Nova rocket, with its Pathfinder variant designed to carry 3,000 kg to low Earth orbit and slated for first flight in early 2027.
• The funding will scale manufacturing, test, launch and recovery infrastructure, including a sevenfold expansion of its Moses Lake test site to 550 acres, and fund the larger Nova Block 2 vehicle.
• Roughly $2.1B of Stoke's total funding has come since January 2025 across a Series C, Series D, a D extension, and now this Series E — all before Nova has flown.
• A successful Nova launch would unlock eligibility for Space Force NSSL Phase 3 Lane 1 task orders, a program whose contract ceiling was tripled to $17B in July.
• Backing a pre-flight rocket maker with this much capital signals investor conviction that reusable launch capacity, not just satellites, is the coming bottleneck in space infrastructure.
