Standard Bots raised $200M in a Series C round at a $1B valuation, led by RoboStrategy with General Catalyst and other existing backers participating.

Standard Bots, a New York–based manufacturer of AI-native industrial robots, has closed a $200 million Series C funding round that values the company at $1 billion. The round was led by robotics-focused investor RoboStrategy, alongside existing investors including General Catalyst, with participation from funds such as Amazon’s industrial innovation arm, Samsung Next, GiantLeap Capital and other institutional backers. The company previously raised $63 million in earlier rounds and now ranks among the latest U.S. robotics unicorns as it scales production of robotic arms for domestic manufacturers.

The fresh capital will be used to expand Standard Bots’ U.S. manufacturing footprint in Glen Cove, New York, where the company is increasing its facility to roughly 70,000 square feet to meet rising demand from both large enterprises and small-to-midsize manufacturers. Management has stated ambitions to account for a significant share of new U.S. industrial robot deployments over the next year, positioning the company as a key supplier of AI-enabled automation as American industry upgrades its factory infrastructure. The combination of a $1 billion valuation and backing from top-tier technology and robotics investors underscores growing confidence that AI-native hardware platforms will be central to reshoring and modernizing U.S. manufacturing.
