Scapia raised $63 million in a Series C led by General Catalyst, with Peak XV Partners and Z47 also participating.
Scapia has raised $63 million in a Series C round led by General Catalyst, with continued participation from existing investors Peak XV Partners and Z47. The financing was an all-primary round with no secondary component, and some reports say the company has declined to comment on valuation while others cite a post-money valuation above $500 million.
The Bengaluru-based travel fintech plans to use the capital to expand its travel offerings, grow its customer base across India, and deepen its AI-led product development. Reported priorities include hiring across engineering, product, design, and data science, along with scaling the company’s travel and financial services platform for younger, travel-oriented consumers.
Scapia combines travel booking with financial products, including co-branded credit cards and related payments features, and has partnered with Federal Bank and Bank of Baroda for card offerings. The company had previously raised $40 million in Series B funding in April 2025, and TechCrunch reported that the new round more than doubles its prior valuation from around $200 million to above $500 million.
