Way Security raises $20M seed to automate enterprise IAM rollouts

Implementing identity software can cost three to five times more than the software itself, and Way Security is targeting that hidden expense.
- Way Security raised a $20 million seed round co-led by Insight Partners and Glilot Capital, CEO Yossi Barishev told Axios.
- Founded in 2025 by CEO Yossi Barishev and CTO Yonatan Rosenberg, the company builds an AI-powered, agentic platform that helps enterprises deploy and operate identity access management (IAM) systems they've already bought, rather than replacing them.
- Way says implementation, customization and ongoing operational work for IAM can cost enterprises three to five times more than the underlying software itself.
- The roughly 30-person company already has dozens of paying customers across financial services, healthcare and manufacturing.
- Way Security plans to use the funding to expand its presence in the United States while continuing to develop its identity operations platform.
- The company partners with, rather than competes against, larger identity providers, positioning itself as the execution layer that gets those platforms fully deployed.
- As identity becomes the primary control point for enterprise security amid AI-driven attacks, the gap between buying IAM software and actually operating it has become a costly bottleneck that startups are now racing to automate.
