Fun raised $72M in a Series A round co-led by Multicoin Capital and SignalFire to expand its blockchain-based payments infrastructure.

Fun, a blockchain-based payments infrastructure company, has raised $72 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Multicoin Capital and SignalFire. The company provides global payment rail infrastructure that connects bank accounts to blockchain networks, enabling fiat-to-crypto transfers and powering deposits, withdrawals, and settlement flows for large-scale applications. Fun reportedly processes more than $18 billion in annual transaction volume across over 100 countries for clients including Polymarket and Aave.

The new capital will be used to expand Fun’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region through a new office in Singapore, invest further in its engineering and operations teams, and pursue acquisitions to deepen its infrastructure stack. The funding underscores continued investor interest in core crypto-fintech infrastructure that already handles significant regulated transaction volume, positioning Fun as a key player in bridging traditional banking rails with on-chain finance.
