Copperhelm emerged from stealth with $7M seed funding to deliver AI agents that autonomously monitor, investigate, and remediate cloud threats. The Tel Aviv-based startup targets enterprise CISOs with its Context Lake-powered platform already serving Fortune 500 customers.
Copperhelm, a Tel Aviv-headquartered cybersecurity startup, launched from stealth on April 23, 2026, securing $7 million in seed funding led by TLV Partners, with participation from toDay Ventures, ICON, and SaaS Ventures Israel. Angel investors include Kfir Tishbi, Or Hiltch, Guy Zipori, and Ephraim Yarmak. Founded by Shimon Tolts, Eyar Zilberman, and Roman Labunsky, the team draws from experience at Unity, McAfee, and RSA, focusing on cloud infrastructure and security at scale. The funding supports product development, go-to-market expansion, and engineering team growth, with Shay Michel from Merlin Ventures joining the board.
The company's platform introduces agentic cloud security through purpose-built AI agents that replace manual workflows. Central to this is the Context Lake, a real-time decision layer that structures cloud data across environments, enabling agents to analyze infrastructure, validate risks, and execute remediations autonomously while keeping security teams in control. Specialized agents handle network analysis, system behavior monitoring, adversary simulation, and automated fixes like deploying WAF rules without downtime. Already deployed with paying Fortune 500 customers, the platform processed 6 million raw findings into hundreds of validated risks for one client, slashing engineering effort.
Copperhelm targets CISOs and security teams at large enterprises facing manual cloud defense gaps amid rising AI autonomy elsewhere. Operating across hundreds of cloud accounts, its agents connect to live workloads for precise threat response, boosting efficiency and scale. This positions Copperhelm as a leader in autonomous cloud protection, helping organizations prioritize critical risks in complex multi-cloud setups.
