M1X Global lands $5.5M seed led by Paradigm for tokenized sovereign debt
Raised

M1X Global raised a $5.5M seed round led by Paradigm, with Breed VC participating, bringing its total funding to $8.5M.
M1X Global, a sovereign financial infrastructure startup focused on tokenized government debt, has closed a $5.5 million seed funding round. The equity round was led by crypto-focused investment firm Paradigm, with Breed VC joining as the only other disclosed investor. Multiple reports note that the round was oversubscribed and follows a $3 million angel raise completed in March 2026, bringing M1X Global’s total funding to $8.5 million.
The company is building USDM1, a blockchain-native, USD-backed sovereign debt instrument issued in partnership with the Republic of the Marshall Islands and collateralized by short-term U.S. Treasuries. The new capital will be used to expand USDM1’s infrastructure and boost institutional adoption, including its use as compliant collateral and in broader sovereign debt tokenization use cases. As governments and institutions explore on-chain capital markets, M1X Global’s seed round highlights growing investor interest in regulated, government-linked stablecoin and tokenized treasury products.
Founded in 2023, M1X Global positions itself at the intersection of fintech and public sector finance, helping governments issue and manage sovereign debt on public blockchains. The participation of Paradigm and Breed VC, alongside earlier angel backers, underscores confidence in the company’s approach to modernizing sovereign financial infrastructure and bringing traditional government bonds into programmable, 24/7 markets.
