Oxford Quantum Circuits has raised an oversubscribed £260m ($350m) Series C round, led by Bullhound Capital, in Europe’s largest private quantum computing funding to date.

Oxford Quantum Circuits has closed an oversubscribed £260 million ($350 million) Series C funding round, described as the largest private capital raise to date for a quantum computing company in Europe. The UK-based quantum hardware developer will use the funding to scale its superconducting quantum infrastructure globally and expand its data centre–deployed quantum systems footprint across key international markets. The round was announced on 3 June 2026 and marks a major step up from the company’s earlier funding, underlining growing investor confidence in commercial quantum computing.

The Series C was led by Bullhound Capital and brought together a broad mix of public and private investors. The British Business Bank acted as a cornerstone backer with a £100 million commitment, alongside new investors including Fynveur (advised by Invus), COFIDES, Mastercard, IHAG, RCM Private Markets Fund managed by Rokos Capital Management, Alpha Edison, Fulcrum Asset Management, Pentland Ventures, Magdalen College Oxford, Adaptive Capital Partners, Firgun Ventures, 18 West and Oxford Capital. Existing investors such as Oxford Science Enterprises, SBI, Chevron Technology Ventures, The University of Tokyo Edge Capital Partners and OTIF Ventures also participated. The scale and oversubscribed nature of the round position Oxford Quantum Circuits as one of the best-capitalised private quantum computing companies globally and signal accelerating momentum for quantum infrastructure as a strategic technology category.
