Heidi Health launches Heidi II, letting AI agents complete clinical admin

Doctors lose over eight hours weekly to paperwork spread across half a dozen disconnected systems, work AI scribes never touched.

• Heidi Health unveiled Heidi II on September 28, 2026 in Melbourne, expanding its clinical AI from note-taking into agents that act on referrals, chart prep and follow-ups under clinician supervision.
• Heidi bills itself as an AI Care Partner for clinicians and health systems, currently supporting 2.8 million patient visits a week and surfacing about 10 million follow-up tasks.
• Clinicians can trigger a pre-built 'Routine' or describe a task in plain language, and Heidi's agents plan and execute it across existing systems, escalating only steps that need clinical sign-off.
• New agents start in Manual mode, where every draft or write-back pauses for clinician review, before practices can opt into Auto mode for routine tasks to run unsupervised.
• The average doctor spends 8.7 hours a week, or 16.6% of working hours, on administrative tasks scattered across four to six disconnected systems per patient visit.
• Heidi's existing Scribe tool has supported more than 175 million visits and 67 million clinical hours, and has surfaced over 400 million follow-on tasks since February 2024.
• Heidi, backed by Blackbird Ventures and last valued at $1.26 billion, demonstrated Heidi II to about 200 clinicians and health administrators as it positions itself against legacy healthcare software providers.
