LeapXpert lands $180M growth round to scale governed comms AI

LeapXpert, a governed communication intelligence and compliant business messaging platform for enterprises, has raised $180 million in growth funding to accelerate its AI-powered communications governance offering. The round is described as a growth or growth equity investment and is aimed at deepening the platform’s ability to understand, monitor, and act on governed conversations across financial services, public sector, and broader enterprise customers.

The financing was led by Riverwood Capital, with Portage Ventures participating as the other disclosed investor in the round, and brings LeapXpert’s total reported equity funding to more than $230 million according to multiple funding trackers. The company plans to use the capital to enhance its AI capabilities for extracting intelligence from work chats, expand go-to-market efforts in regulated industries, and grow its leadership team. The deal underscores rising demand for secure, compliant communications tools as enterprises face tighter regulatory scrutiny on digital messaging channels.
