Xpanner raised $18M in a Series B bridge round led by Korea Investment Partners and KB Investment to expand its AI-powered construction automation platform in the U.S.

Construction automation startup Xpanner has raised $18 million in a Series B bridge funding round to accelerate deployment of its AI-powered automation systems for construction sites. The round was led by existing backers Korea Investment Partners and KB Investment, bringing the company’s total funding to $38 million since inception. Xpanner plans to use the new capital to expand its subscription-based automation and Automation-as-a-Service offering across the U.S. market, scaling both its software platform and physical AI hardware for equipment automation.

Headquartered in California and founded in South Korea in 2020, Xpanner develops robotics and automation technology designed to handle core on-site construction tasks with minimal human intervention. The company’s systems target labor shortages and productivity challenges in large infrastructure and building projects by enabling remote and automated operation of heavy equipment. With this bridge round, Xpanner is focusing on deeper penetration of the U.S. construction and infrastructure market and laying the groundwork for further international expansion, positioning itself among a growing cohort of AI- and robotics-driven construction technology providers.
