Raised
$150M
Barcelona-based Factorial raises $150M Series D led by General Catalyst at a $2.5B valuation, with Atomico and Four Rivers joining the round.
Factorial, the Barcelona-based AI workforce operations and HR software platform, has raised $150 million in a Series D funding round at a $2.5 billion valuation. The equity round is led by General Catalyst, marking the firm’s first direct equity investment in Factorial, with participation from existing backers Atomico and Four Rivers. Multiple reports and company communications state that the new financing lifts Factorial among the most valuable scale-ups in Spain and Europe and brings its total available capital to more than $700 million when combined with associated financing commitments.
Alongside the $150 million equity raise, General Catalyst is also committing up to $540 million through its Customer Value Fund, a non-dilutive structure used to fund sales and marketing and customer acquisition efforts. This combination of growth equity and structured capital is intended to accelerate Factorial’s European expansion and further develop its AI-native workforce operations platform. Factorial, founded in Barcelona and already serving thousands of businesses globally, plans to use the new funding to deepen its presence across key European markets while continuing to invest in AI capabilities across HR, payroll, and workforce management workflows.
