Reflection AI will pay SpaceX $150 million a month for access to Colossus GPUs, in a deal that could total $6.3 billion through 2029.

SpaceX has signed a computing-power agreement with open-source AI startup Reflection AI that could generate about $6.3 billion in revenue if it runs through the end of 2029. Under the contract, Reflection will begin paying $150 million per month on July 1, 2026, and will get immediate access to Nvidia GB300 chips through SpaceX’s Colossus infrastructure.

The deal is structured with flexibility for both sides: either party can terminate it with 90 days’ notice after an initial three-month period. That means the headline value reflects the maximum contract amount, not guaranteed revenue, but it still places SpaceX among the companies monetizing scarce AI compute capacity at scale.

For Reflection, the agreement expands access to high-end training and inference hardware as it pushes an American open-source AI strategy aimed at competing with closed model providers. The startup has also been tied to government and national security work, including the Department of Energy’s Genesis Mission and Pentagon AI initiatives, which makes extra compute capacity strategically important.

For SpaceX, the contract shows how its Colossus buildout is evolving from an internal AI asset into a commercial infrastructure business. CNBC said similar arrangements already exist with Anthropic and Google, indicating that SpaceX is increasingly treating data-center capacity as a recurring revenue stream alongside its core aerospace and satellite operations.
