Airwallex closes $320M Series H, fintech valuation jumps to $11B
Raised
$320M
Airwallex has raised $320 million in a Series H round at an $11 billion valuation, led by Addition with backing from a slate of global growth investors.
Airwallex, the global payments and financial platform, has secured $320 million in a Series H funding round that values the company at $11 billion, up from $8 billion in December 2025. The latest raise was led by returning investor Addition, with participation from Baillie Gifford, Hummingbird, QED Investors, T. Rowe Price, Hedosophia, Haun Ventures, Washington University in St. Louis, and Amex Ventures. The company disclosed that the funding will support product development in autonomous finance and agentic commerce, as well as expansion into new markets and scaling its AI-focused teams.
The new capital cements Airwallex’s position as one of the highest-valued private fintechs, reflecting strong investor conviction in its strategy to move beyond cross-border payments into AI-native finance software. The company is channeling the Series H proceeds into building infrastructure for AI agents to manage payments and financial operations, positioning itself as a core provider of global financial rails for automated business workflows. This round also highlights the growing role of long-horizon public-market investors such as Baillie Gifford and T. Rowe Price in late-stage fintech, underscoring expectations that Airwallex’s scale and AI product roadmap can support a future public-market profile.
