Raised
$160M
AI-native insurtech Corgi raised $160M in a TCV-led Series B at a $1.3B valuation, cementing its unicorn status and bringing total funding above $268M.
AI-native insurtech startup Corgi has raised $160 million in a Series B funding round, valuing the company at $1.3 billion and pushing it into unicorn territory. The San Francisco-based company, which builds a full-stack insurance platform tailored to startups and tech businesses, disclosed that the new capital lifts its total funding to more than $268 million following previously announced seed and Series A rounds. The Series B was announced in early May 2026 and comes only a few months after Corgi's $108 million Series A.
The round was led by growth equity firm TCV, with participation from a broad syndicate of existing and new backers including Oliver Jung, Leblon Capital, Kindred Ventures, Repeat VC, Zone 2 Ventures, Audeo Ventures, Quadri Ventures, First Order Fund, Vocal Ventures, Maiora Ventures, Nordstar, Seven Stars Ventures, Hexa Capital, Alpha Square Group, GSBackers, OurCrowd, Alumni Ventures, and Global Growth Fund. Corgi plans to use the capital to scale its AI-driven insurance infrastructure, expand into additional lines of coverage, and deepen its presence serving startups and SMBs that require faster, more modular insurance products than those offered by traditional carriers. The funding underscores growing investor conviction in AI-powered, full-stack insurance platforms as an alternative to legacy insurance technology.
