Anduril lands $5B Series H, surges to $61B valuation

$5B
Defense tech unicorn Anduril has raised $5 billion in a Series H round at a $61 billion valuation, led by Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz.
Anduril Industries, the defense technology company known for autonomous systems and AI-enabled defense platforms, has closed a $5 billion Series H funding round that values the company at $61 billion. The round was led by existing backers Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz, with other prior investors including Founders Fund and Lux Capital noted among its broader cap table. Multiple reports state that this new financing more than doubles Anduril's valuation from the $30.5 billion it achieved in a June 2025 round, when it raised $2.5 billion.
The company said it will use the capital to expand manufacturing capacity, increase investment in research and development, and build out the infrastructure needed to produce and deploy advanced defense systems at scale. Anduril focuses on autonomous defense products such as drones, surveillance systems and AI-driven command-and-control software for the U.S. and allied militaries, positioning itself at the center of a broader boom in defense-tech funding. With this Series H raise, Anduril has now secured more than $11 billion in total funding, solidifying its status as one of the most highly valued venture-backed defense startups globally and fueling expectations that it may be approaching the scale needed for a future public listing.
Founded by Palmer Luckey and a team including Brian Schimpf, Trae Stephens, Matt Grimm and Joseph Chen, Anduril is headquartered in Costa Mesa, California. The latest round underscores growing investor appetite for dual-use technologies and defense platforms as governments ramp up modernization of military systems. For Anduril, the new capital provides significant resources to ramp production, support large government contracts, and accelerate deployment of its autonomous and AI-enabled systems in the U.S. and abroad.
