Verse raises a $54M Series B led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with NVIDIA, GV and Norrsken VC joining to scale its energy software for AI data centers.

Verse, a San Francisco-based energy software company, has raised an oversubscribed $54 million Series B round to accelerate deployment of its platform for AI and cloud data centers. The financing was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from GV, NVIDIA, Norrsken VC and other existing and new investors. Verse’s Dispatch Intelligence software coordinates on-site batteries, solar and other distributed resources so data centers can reduce grid demand during constrained hours and secure interconnection approvals significantly earlier than through traditional utility timelines.

The company positions its technology as a way to cut grid connection delays by as much as three years for large-scale AI data centers, a bottleneck increasingly limiting the rollout of new compute capacity. Verse previously raised $20.5 million in a Series A round in 2024 and earlier seed funding, bringing total capital to roughly $80 million post-Series B. The new funding will support scaling its platform to more sites, deepening partnerships such as its collaboration with Calibrant Energy, and integrating with reference designs for large AI data center architectures. The round underscores growing investor focus on software that sits at the intersection of AI infrastructure, grid capacity and renewable energy integration.
