Series A

Prague-based AI trading startup EquiLibre has raised an undisclosed Series A round led by Creandum, lifting its valuation to over $500 million.

EquiLibre Technologies, a Prague-based AI stock trading startup founded by former DeepMind researchers, has secured a Series A funding round at a valuation exceeding $500 million. Multiple primary reports note that the round amount was not disclosed, but confirm that the equity financing was structured as a Series A and led by Stockholm-based venture firm Creandum. Several sources highlight that this Series A marks Creandum’s largest single investment in a company to date, underlining the scale of the round even though the exact dollar value remains confidential.

The new capital follows EquiLibre’s earlier $10 million seed round led by Blossom Capital at roughly a $140 million valuation, and a pre-seed backed by Credo Ventures. With the fresh funding, EquiLibre plans to significantly expand its computing cluster and AI research capabilities to support trading agents that already handle billions in daily volume across major indices such as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq in collaboration with Tower Research Capital. The $500M+ valuation places EquiLibre among the more highly valued European AI trading startups, reflecting growing investor confidence in reinforcement learning-based trading systems and the broader momentum behind AI-driven financial infrastructure.
