Qodo Raises $70M Series B to Verify AI-Generated Code

Qodo, founded in 2018 and based in New York with operations in Tel Aviv, Israel, develops an AI-powered platform for code review and governance. The company raised $70 million in a Series B round on March 30, 2026, increasing its total funding to $120 million. Qumra Capital led the investment, with participation from Maor Ventures, Phoenix Capital Partners, S Ventures, Square Peg, Susa Ventures, TLV Partners, Vine Ventures, and angels including OpenAI executive Peter Welender and Meta executive Clara Shih. Customers include Walmart, NVIDIA, Red Hat, Box, Intuit, Ford Motors, and Monday.com.

The funding addresses the surge in AI-generated code, which requires verification for quality, security, and compliance against organizational standards. Qodo's platform evaluates code changes across repositories, incorporates codebase history, and applies defined engineering standards. It recently topped Martian's Code Review Bench with an F1 score between 50.3% and 64.3%, outperforming competitors like Claude Code Review. Recent releases include Qodo 2.2 with multi-agent review and context engineering using full-repository data.

Proceeds will scale global enterprise operations, grow engineering and product teams—starting with hires in Tel Aviv—and advance AI-driven governance features. This positions Qodo to support enterprises shifting AI from experimentation to production-scale use, tackling verification bottlenecks in a market where developers increasingly rely on AI tools but question output reliability. The investment highlights growing focus on code verification infrastructure amid AI's expansion in software development.
