Warp, an AI-native human capital management and employee management platform, has raised $60 million in a Series B funding round to expand its payroll, HR, tax compliance and employee onboarding capabilities. The round is led by Battery Ventures, with participation from Peak XV, Sound Ventures and Y Combinator, and brings Warp’s total funding to $85 million secured in under a year. The new capital will be used to develop deeper AI agents, bolster tax and compliance infrastructure, broaden the product suite and scale customer support for high-growth companies.

The financing round also includes a group of notable angel and operator investors such as Shopify CEO Tobi Lütke, former Stripe COO Claire Hughes Johnson, Dropbox co-founders Drew Houston and Arash Ferdowsi, former Coinbase CTO Balaji Srinivasan, Eventbrite founder Kevin Hartz, Cruise founder Kyle Vogt, Replit founder Amjad Masad and HOF Capital among others. Warp focuses on automating payroll, compliance and HR with minimal back-office staff involvement, positioning itself against incumbents like ADP and newer platforms such as Rippling and Workday by offering integrated AI-driven workflows. Independent funding trackers report that the $60 million round implies a roughly $400 million valuation for Warp, highlighting growing investor confidence in AI-powered infrastructure for enterprise back-office systems.
