Legal AI infrastructure platform Harvey closed a $200 million funding round co-led by GIC and Sequoia, reaching an $11 billion valuation and over $1 billion in cumulative funding. The capital will fuel expansion of AI agents and global legal engineering teams.
Harvey, an AI-powered legal infrastructure platform, announced a $200 million funding round co-led by returning investors GIC and Sequoia, valuing the company at $11 billion. The round included participation from existing backers Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue, Conviction Partners, Elad Gil, Evantic, and Kleiner Perkins. With this raise, Harvey has now accumulated more than $1 billion in total funding since its inception. The company's valuation has grown dramatically over the past year, jumping from $3 billion in February 2025 to $5 billion in June 2025, then $8 billion in December 2025, representing a 3.5x increase in valuation within a single year.
The fresh capital will be deployed to scale Harvey's AI agent capabilities and expand its embedded legal engineering teams globally. The platform currently hosts more than 25,000 custom agents running across 1,300 organizations, with over 100,000 lawyers using Harvey for critical legal workflows. Harvey's AI agents are designed to automate high-volume and complex legal tasks, reducing manual effort for law firms and in-house legal departments. Sequoia's decision to co-lead three consecutive funding rounds since Harvey's Series A underscores the investor's exceptional confidence in the company's trajectory and market opportunity in the rapidly expanding legal AI sector.
