True Anomaly secured $650 million in Series D funding at a $2.2 billion valuation, co-led by Eclipse and Riot Ventures. The round brings total capital to $1 billion for its space defense platforms.

True Anomaly, a Centennial, Colorado-based company founded in August 2022, raised $650 million in a Series D funding round at a $2.2 billion valuation. The financing, which includes $50 million in debt from Stifel Bank, was co-led by Eclipse and Riot Ventures. New investors Paradigm, Atreides, G Squared, The Private Shares Fund, and VanEck participated alongside existing backers Accel, Menlo Ventures, ACME Capital, Space VC, Meritech Capital, Narya, and 645 Ventures. This brings the company's total capital raised to $1 billion across prior rounds: $17 million Series A in April 2023, $100 million Series B in December 2023, and $260 million Series C in April 2025.

The funding arrives days after the U.S. Space Force selected True Anomaly among 12 companies for prototype development under the Golden Dome program, involving up to $3.2 billion in Other Transaction Authority agreements. True Anomaly specializes in autonomous spacecraft like the Jackal orbital vehicle, Mosaic mission autonomy software, advanced payloads, and space-based interceptors designed for contested orbital environments. The capital will accelerate product delivery, expand manufacturing, and grow the workforce to over 500 employees by the end of 2026 to support a dozen missions in the next 18 months.

This massive raise underscores surging investor confidence in space defense amid escalating geopolitical tensions in orbit. As the only company in the Golden Dome cohort exclusively focused on space defense, True Anomaly positions itself as a key industrial partner for U.S. military space superiority efforts. The funding enables scaling to meet demand from national security customers, reinforcing its role in building resilient systems for allies.
