$830M
Mistral AI raised $830M in debt financing from seven banks to acquire 13,800 NVIDIA GB300 GPUs for its first data center near Paris, boosting capacity to 44MW. The facility supports model training and inference, advancing Europe's AI infrastructure.
Mistral AI obtained $830 million in debt financing, structured as two tranches of approximately $720 million USD and €94 million, from a syndicate of seven banks including Bpifrance, BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole CIB, Natixis CIB, La Banque Postale, HSBC, and MUFG. This marks the company's first debt round, dedicated to purchasing 13,800 NVIDIA GB300 GPUs and expanding the Bruyères-le-Châtel data center south of Paris to 44 megawatts of powered capacity. Construction began in February 2025, with operations targeted for the second quarter of 2026 to handle AI model training for Mistral and its customers, plus high-performance inference services.
