Zafin buys banking compliance startup Naehas for nine figures
October 26, 2026
The deal extends Zafin's reach to 16 of the top 20 US banks, a sign that compliance and marketing tech are converging under one roof.
- Zafin signed a definitive agreement to acquire Naehas for an undisclosed nine-figure sum in U.S. dollars, according to The Globe and Mail.
- Naehas, based in Palo Alto with about 250 employees, builds software banks use to launch personalized marketing offers while staying onside with regulatory rules.
- Naehas generates between $30 million and $50 million in annual revenue, per the Globe and Mail report.
- Zafin CEO Charbel Safadi said the company funded the deal with a mix of cash — partly drawn from its credit line — and equity.
- The acquisition is Zafin's first major deal since Stockholm's Nordic Capital took majority control of the company in early 2024 at a valuation above $500 million.
- Once the deal closes, Zafin will count 16 of the top 20 U.S. banks as customers, cementing its position among major regulated-institution software vendors.
- The deal signals that pricing, marketing, offers and compliance software are consolidating into unified platforms as regulated institutions push to automate customer offers faster.
