EnduroSat raises $205M to scale drone-like satellite manufacturing

Assembling satellites like drone production lines could cut space data costs from hundreds of dollars per gigabyte to about a dollar.

• EnduroSat raised $205 million in a new round co-led by Riot Ventures and Atreides Management to scale satellite manufacturing in the US and Europe.
• The Bulgarian company builds standardized, software-defined small satellites and sells satellite capacity through a constellations-as-a-service model to governments and enterprises.
• The capital funds a new high-volume manufacturing facility in the US and what EnduroSat calls the EU's largest space and defense hub, plus larger ESPA-class FRAME spacecraft built with serial, drone-like repeatability.
• EnduroSat has launched 103 satellites and delivered more than 200 for missions worldwide, and its modular, cableless design lets a single technician assemble and test a satellite in eight hours.
• The raise follows a string of commercial wins, including a contract to build 40 GNSS satellites for TrustPoint and a memorandum with Arianespace to book Ariane 64 launches starting in 2029.
• Pushing satellite production toward assembly-line economics aims to drop space data costs from hundreds of dollars per gigabyte toward roughly $1, turning orbital data into a viable input for ordinary businesses, not just governments and giants.
