Tractian raises $130M Series D at $1.4B valuation for industrial AI
October 22, 2026
Raised
$130M
The deal prices the sensor-and-AI platform at roughly 14 times its annualized revenue, among the richest multiples in today's industrial-AI boom.
- Tractian closed a $130 million Series D led by Sapphire Ventures and co-led by M&G's Catalyst, valuing the company at $1.4 billion.
- Founded in Brazil in 2019 and now based in Atlanta, Tractian bolts vibration and ultrasound sensors onto industrial machines and runs AI agents that diagnose failures before they cause downtime.
- The $1.4 billion mark works out to roughly 14 times Tractian's annualized revenue, which crossed $100 million in September 2026 after growing 90% year over year.
- More than 2,000 facilities run Tractian's sensors, including plants operated by Eli Lilly, Coca-Cola, Whirlpool and Cummins, supported by over 700 employees across Atlanta, Monterrey, Sao Paulo and Poland.
- The valuation makes Tractian Latin America's most valuable AI startup, overtaking legal-AI firm Enter, which was marked at $1.2 billion in May 2026.
- The company plans to spend the capital over five years on training its AI models, buying Nvidia processors, developing new sensor hardware, and expanding in the US and Europe.
- Tractian's jump joins a cluster of physical-AI startups crossing $1 billion valuations this week, signaling investors are pricing sensor-plus-AI hardware plays like software companies.
