Cyera raises $400M more from Goldman Sachs at $12B valuation
September 22, 2026
Raised
$400M
The price per share hasn't moved since June, meaning investors are paying for access to a hot deal rather than fresh growth signals.
- Cyera raised a $400 million extension to its Series G from Goldman Sachs Alternatives Growth Equity, keeping the company's valuation above $12 billion three months after Evolution Equity Partners led the round's $600 million close.
- Founded in 2021 by CEO Yotam Segev and CTO Tamar Bar-Ilan, Cyera scans cloud, SaaS, database and on-prem systems to find sensitive data and govern who and what can access it.
- This year Cyera pushed beyond data security into policing AI agents, launching Agent Guardian and Cyera Endpoint to track the tool calls, database queries and actions agents take on both cloud systems and employee devices.
- The extension brings Cyera's 2026 fundraising to $1.4 billion across three rounds this year alone, and total capital raised since 2021 to more than $2 billion.
- In late July, Cyera acquired agentic access management startup Oasis Security for $1 billion, adding tools to manage the machine identities AI agents use to reach enterprise systems.
- The deal is a flat markup rather than a new valuation event: Cyera's price per share is unchanged from June, when a $600 million round first set the $12 billion mark.
- The rapid pace of raises reflects a broader security-market bet that autonomous AI agents, which can query data and take action without human sign-off, are becoming the next major enterprise attack surface.
