Flow Engineering raises $50M Series B at $750M valuation

$50M
Sequoia doubled down after leading the Series A, a sign hardware-AI infrastructure is now drawing software-style valuations.
- Flow Engineering raised a $50 million Series B at a $750 million valuation, co-led by Antonio Gracias of Valor Equity Partners and Gavin Baker of Atreides Management.
- The San Francisco startup builds AI agents that link CAD, Git, simulations and documentation into a 'systems graph' to catch design conflicts and verify requirements automatically.
- Sequoia Capital, which led Flow's Series A last October, returned for the Series B, and former Sequoia partner Roelof Botha invested personally and joined the board.
- The $50 million raise equals roughly 6.7% of the company's new $750 million post-money valuation.
- At customer Rivian, Flow's footprint grew from 40 to 1,500 engineers in seven months, generating millions of weekly API calls.
- Customers include Anduril, Joby Aviation, Stoke Space, Rivian, General Motors PPU, and RV Tech, the Rivian-Volkswagen joint venture, spanning space, defense, automotive and energy.
- The round signals investors betting that AI-driven verification, not just design generation, is the next chokepoint to automate as hardware programs grow too complex to check by hand.
